The Advantages and Weakness of LCD, LED and Plasma

The last few years, has created technology-advanced technology of television monitors. The former television using the CRT tube and its size was limited, most probably only 29 inches, but now with the invention of LCD, LED, Plasma television, the size of the smallest 2 inches to 50 inches. But where is the most appropriate we have between the three types. Here I will explain the differences of the three and which one should we choose.

• Advantages of LCD TV

• Weakness LCD TV

• The advantages of LED TV

1. The Age of LED TV is relatively longer than on the LCD & Plasma TV
2. The Plasma level and produce a much higher contrast than LCD TVs, equivalent to or even higher than Plasma TVs 
3. Allows manufacturers to produce flat-screen television with the size of super thin, with a thickness of approximately 2.5 cm, more slim than on LCD and plasma TVs are more energy-efficient
4. Eco-friendly lower electricity consumption of approximately 20-30% compared to conventional TV, LCD TV and others

• Weakness TV LED TV 

1. Prices are more expensive for the same size as other types of TV
2. The prices were a little more expensive, for the same size and features, the price of the cheapest LED TV around 20% more expensive than LCD TVs.

• Advantages of Plasma TV 

1. Produce black color that is better than LCD TV 
2. Contrast ratio is high (1: 2,000,000) 
3. Point of view more wider 
4. Refresh Rate and a fast Response Time, minimize the appearance of image blur

• Weakness Plasma TV 

1. Still images are displayed in a long time will cause burn-in and image ghosting
2.  The picture quality will continue to decline as the duration of use, although in a relatively long period of time 
3. Heavier than LCD TVs and LED TVs 
4. Using a power greater than the LCD TV and LED TV .
